GINIMO * smoothies

 
 

Smoothie is a blended drink made from fresh fruit or vegetable and is an excellent way to provide your body with all the necessary nutrients. It is sometimes blended with crushed ice, frozen fruit, or frozen yogurt. There is no ideal ingredients for the perfect smoothie, it is all about personal taste and preference and only your imagination sets the limits.

Banana, oat and almond milk smoothie (Serves 1 person)

1 large banana

1 handful of crushed almonds

1 spoon porridge oats

1 glass of ice water


Place the almonds into a blender and add  the ice water. Mix for approximately 30 seconds till the water look milky. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix for another 30 second. 

Strawberry and blueberry smoothie (Serves 1 person)

1 small cup of blueberries

5 strawberries

1 small cup of frozen yogurt


Add all the ingredients into the blender and mix for 20 seconds. 

Kiwi and pineapple smoothies (Serves 1 persons)

3 kiwis

2 slices of fresh pineapple

3 ice cubes


Put the ingredients into the blender and mix for approximately 30 seconds. Add the ice cubes into the drink prior to drinking.

Carrot and orange smoothie (Serves 1 person)

5 medium size oranges

6 large carrot

3 ice cubes

 

Peel the oranges and wash cut the carrots into smaller pieces.

Put both ingredient into the blender and mix for 30 sec.

Add the ice cubes just before serving.
